Cities are a mosaic of cultures, land use, plant diversity, temperature, buildings, and more. This patchiness of habitats and people make for an interesting life as a wild bee. In this Wild Bee Buzz Talk, Charlotte de Keyzer (PhD Candidate at the University of Toronto) will take you on a journey exploring the life of bees in the city. What food is available to them and when? Where do they nest and for how long? And how do people factor into all of this?
This event is drop-in and suited to an adult and youth ages 8+ audience. Suggested donation is $5.
