Young children learn the wild ways of High Park along with their caregivers as they use their senses to discover nature: listening to birds, touching the natural textures of the woods and enjoying the fresh air.
Get outside! Kids explore the natural wonders of High Park while learning about the amazing plants and animals that live here. A great opportunity for kids who love to be active and creative to learn how they can become stewards of High Park!
“At Home in High Park” is for homeschoolers who love nature and are interested in learning more about the plants and animals of High Park. We learn about the natural world through direct experience, inquiry, observation, play and stewardship action.
High Park Rangers is a weekday after school nature club for youth aged 12 – 16. Youth will take care of High Park while becoming environmental leaders in the community. The High Park Rangers will develop important skills and perform meaningful stewardship work.
