Working with High Park Nature Centre
The High Park Nature Centre (HPNC) is a charitable organization that was established in 1999. Our mission is to plant seeds of conservation, curiosity and connection to nature in our community through year-round, hands-on, outdoor nature education and park stewardship. The HPNC is a small and nimble organization that serves a diverse audience of over 10,000 people annually from across the Greater Toronto Area. Our experienced team of educators operates in a collaborative, supportive and inclusive work environment that enables unique programming and opportunities for learning and growth. We are currently underway with a capital campaign to fund the High Park Visitor and Nature Centre which will create a focal point for park life. This is an exciting time to join the HPNC team.

Summer Event and Stewardship Facilitator in High Park
The Summer Event and Stewardship Facilitator will be responsible for delivering engaging adult and intergenerational nature-based events, leading stewardship and community science programs, and ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
Indigenous Programs Coordinator & Naturalist Teacher
Note: This position is only for people who identify as Indigenous. It is funded by Miziwe Biik Aboriginal Employment and Training in partnership with Service Canada.
The Indigenous Programs Coordinator & Naturalist Teacher will be responsible for overseeing Indigenous-led programs at the organization while delivering high quality nature education programs in High Park as a naturalist teacher.
The Interim Communications Coordinator and Naturalist Teacher will be responsible for implementing the organization’s communications and marketing strategy and teach nature education programs in High Park.
Interim Executive Director
Acting under the supervision of the Board of Directors and in close collaboration with staff and park partners, the Interim Executive Director will be responsible for the successful leadership and management of the Nature Centre’s operations, programs, and finances.
Indigenous Naturalist Teacher
The successful candidate will deliver a variety of high quality nature education, stewardship and Indigenous-led programs for children, youth and families in High Park.

Environmental Education Summer Camp Counsellors
Counsellors are a core part of our summer camp team who work outdoors in High Park with campers every day, developing and delivering fun and educational nature programs for kids of all ages.
Programs Supervisor and Naturalist Teacher
The Programs Supervisor and Naturalist Teacher is responsible for supervising and mentoring some naturalist teachers, managing the program schedule, and more.
