Birds of a Feather Event Details
Join us with special guest Pete Moss on World Migratory Day for this music-filled family friendly birding event in High Park this fall.
We’ll begin the afternoon with a Songs and Stories Circle celebrating local birds through interactive songs. We’ll then make bird friendly crafts and join Pete Moss for a walk where we’ll learn about bird habitats, bird languages, mimic bird sounds and more!

Pete Moss
Toronto musician and outdoor educator Pete Moss has been connecting children with nature for a decade. His albums Plants Rock (2019) and Birds Rock (2021) are a tribute to the magic of plants & birds in your neighbourhood. In partnership with the Nature Centre, he also released The Birds Rock Activity Book, a free resource designed to foster connections between school-aged children and birds in our community! With a playful folk-pop style and creative storytelling, these songs inspire care and curiosity towards the natural world.
