Know Your Nature With The High Park Rangers Event Details:

Join our Fall 2023 Youth Rangers for a hike through High Park as they present what they have learned about nature over the season! Our Rangers will hold their walks on Saturday, November 11, at the following times:

  • 10-11:30AM (Tuesday Rangers):
Come join the Tuesday Rangers as they connect fire and information, talking about some of the activities they engaged in this season. From removal to planting, the Rangers will guide you through a collection of mini hikes relating to the various stewardship activities done by the group, with each one returning to a warm campfire. So let them guide you to learn a little bit more about High Park.

  • 2-3:30PM (Thursday Rangers)
Join the Thursday Rangers as they guide you on a informative hike, discussing how consumerism and trash has had an affect on High Park. Between plastic bottles, compost, and so much more, come for a hike through High Park and learn about some of the effects it’s had on the ecosystem around us. So come and learn about something everyone has seen lots of here in High Park.

Price: Pay What You Can ($5, $10, $15, $20)

Meet Your Instructors

Youth Rangers

High Park Rangers is a youth leadership group that meets every week to learn about nature, do stewardship activities in the park, and connect with other nature-loving youth. Towards the conclusion of the season they lead a free Know Your Nature hike for the public presenting all they have learned about nature during the season.
