Fall Leaf Printmaking Workshop Details
Join us and artist Alan Li for this nature-themed workshop and learn the art of linocut printmaking using native tree leaves found in High Park.
You’ll learn every stage of the process and will take away four 8×10 prints and four 5×7 prints, plus the knowledge of how to set up your own linocut workspace at home.
Price:
- General (ages 18-59 years): $60
- Senior (ages 60 years and above): $50
Materials included:
- Paper, linocut printmaking, and other all other art supplies will be provided.
Please bring:
- Art can be messy. Wear an apron or old clothing.

Alan Li
Artist and conservationist Alan Li uses pencil, ink and paint to document the wonders of the natural world. Alan’s mission is to build connections to nature through arts-based education. Since 2015, he has been partnering with non-profit environmental organizations to lead nature focused art programs and workshops. He also supports conservation efforts through the sale of his artwork and as an active volunteer. Alan believes that drawing can open people’s eyes to the planet’s diversity, and show them that it matters.

This workshop is for adults ages 18 years or older.
Paper, linocut printmaking, and other all other art supplies will be provided.

This workshop will meet in the High Park Nature Centre’s Forest School building at 375 Colborne Lodge Drive.
