Pollinator Week Bioblitz

Tuesday, June 20, 6:30-8PM

Event Details

Join the High Park Nature Centre for a Pollinator Week Bioblitz in OURSpace – our outdoor savannah learning garden. Using our cell phones and the iNaturalist app, we’ll identify as many pollinators as possible!

We’ll start the event with an introduction to native pollinators, OURSpace at the Nature Centre, and an overview of how to use iNaturalist. Then we’ll take as many picture as we can of butterflies, moths, bees, and flies visiting flowers.

This event is part of an iNaturalist community science project across Canada, the United States, and Mexico to identify pollinators visiting flowers! This project is hosted by the North American Pollinator Protection Campaign’s Pollinator Communication Task Force.
