Spring Migration with AsapSCIENCE in Toronto’s High Park

Just like the returning songbirds, Greg and Mitch of AsapSCIENCE are back for the 3rd Annual Spring Migration birding walk with the High Park Nature Centre. Come flock together for a lively, community-driven outing where you can meet fellow bird lovers, sharpen your skills, and soak up the spring vibes. Whether you’re a total nestling or a seasoned birder, come spot migrating beauties and revel in the drama of spring. Bring your curiosity, your binocs, and your best bird energy. This evening will be a real tweet!

What to Expect

The event will be a mix of birding walks and activities at the Nature Centre. You’ll be able to register for one of two birding walks: Session 1 at 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. and Session 2 at 7:30 – 8:30 p.m.

When you’re not out birding, there will be birding- and nature-based activities with the High Park Nature Centre team and their friends.

Please be aware that by registering for this event, you consent to photos being taken and used on our social media channels and website.

This event will start at the High Park Forest School building located at 375 Colborne Lodge Drive.

A number of changes were made to the travel network within High Park as part of the High Park Movement Strategy that might influence your decision to drive to High Park. In case you’re driving we strongly recommend you to park your car at the public parking lot near Grenadier Cafe.

We continue to recommend using the TTC or biking as the best way to get to High Park and the Nature Centre. The Nature Centre is situated just a 5-minute walk from the High Park Subway Station.

Please note, High Park is closed to cars on the weekends. If your event is on a weekend, you will need to park outside the park and walk in, or take transit.
