World Wetlands Day Event in High Park Details:
Join us and Turtle Protectors to learn why wetlands are so important to our collective well-being. This event will start indoors where you will meet some of the incredible beings that call Grenadier Pond home through stories and stunning photos shared by local photographers James Beaton and Dave Evans. Then we’ll head outside for a winter wander where we’ll marvel at the presence of the seen and unseen in High Park’s wetlands.

The High Park Nature Centre’s Forest School building is not yet an AODA-compliant facility. We try our best to accommodate accessibility needs on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to us about any accessibility-related questions you might have. Hike routes through High Park might include some uneven terrain and mild slopes.
