Nature Book Club: May
June 05, 2018 by Kami Valkova

Welcome to Nature Book Club! Here we will share what our book club is reading each month!

Here are just some of the books that filled us with wonder this month! If you're looking for a summer read, this pile of books is a good start!

For the month of May the Nature Book Club discussed fiction! While nature reads are often non-fiction, there are plenty of fiction books that prominently feature nature as a theme or topic!

The format for the book list is as follows: Book title. Author

City Beasts: Fourteen Stories of Uninvited Wildlife. Mark Kurlansky
Creation. Katherine Govier
Little Beach Street Bakery. Jenny Colgan
Sylvanus Now. Donna Morrissey
Wild Life. Molly Gloss
The Evening Chorus. Helen Humphreys

A couple of non-fiction books sneaked their way into the discussion, but are also worthwhile nature reads.

Father Goose. William Lishman
Into Thin Air: A Personal Account of the Mt. Everest Disaster. John Krakauer
