Nature Doodle Art
June 23, 2020 by Julia Miller-Black

Welcome to Keep Calm & Nature On!

This is where we share different things you can do to maintain your nature connection.

Materials Needed:

Nature materials (pressed leaves, flowers, grass, etc.)

Blank piece of paper

Doodling materials (pens, markers, crayons, coloured pencils, etc.)

Optional: glue

Instructions:

Gather and press your nature materials. Flater objects such as leaves, grasses, and small flowers or petals work best. Lay nature materials between two sheets of waxed or regular paper. Flatten between a few heavy books overnight.

When your nature objects are flat, lay them out on a blank piece of paper. Now it’s time to use your imagination! Begin doodling around your objects, you can make your drawings as simple or as intricate as you want.

Optional: if you want to keep your doodles, use glue to stick your nature objects to the page.
