Patti has lived in the High Park area for over 25 years and has experienced the park in all its glory. She is also an avid photographer, writer, history and movie buff.

Heidi loves spending time outside and experiencing the seasons in High Park. She enjoys connecting with people and learning from and in nature.
Masoud Ahmadi, BSc, MEd
School Programs Supervisor
Born and raised on a farm, Masoud enjoyed playing freely in the outdoors and experiencing nature directly. This experience has always been most important to him, and he wants to share it with others.
Julia Miller-Black, HBA
Acting Programs Supervisor
Julia studied, and very much loves, Environmental Studies and History. She has hiked and camped all over Canada and the USA, but also enjoys the nerdy research side of nature.

Emily loves the outdoors, and especially likes spending time in the forest. She is passionate about writing, cooking, and connecting people with nature.

Camp Programs Coordinator
Emily loves all things nature, especially wildlife. When she's not searching for bugs or snapping photos of flowers, Emily can be found at home with her pets, reading a good book with a cup of coffee.

Nature Clubs Coordinator
A lifelong learner, Logan loves to teach outdoors. She is especially interested in the snakes, birds, and salamanders of High Park, and connecting education to nature.
Isobel Fanaki, BSc
Group Experience Coordinator
Isobel loves learning fun facts about plants and animals and sharing them with anyone willing to listen. She also enjoys drawing with pencil and ink and exploring different neighbourhoods in Toronto.

Indigenous Programs Coordinator
Kiera Day is a Plains Cree woman originally from George Gordon First Nation in southern Saskatchewan. Kiera’s passions include Canadian History, Indigenous Rights, and crocheting.

As a Prince Edward Islander in Toronto, Aira enjoys the quieter aspects of the City: beaches, ravine trails, museums, and the extensive library system.

Nature Interpreter
Fel is an experienced outdoor educator from Latin America who loves its jungles, deserts, and Andean highlands. They are looking to spread their love for nature through art, media, and storytelling.

An enthusiastic bird watcher, Leah enjoys going on hikes, kayaking, and rock climbing. Leah also has a passion for cooking, and can be found in the kitchen if not outdoors.

Tina is a passionate environmental educator. She believes in the need to deeply appreciate the other species that surround us. She loves to hike, garden, camp and share the joy of being in High Park.

Felix is an avid birder who finds natural beauty everywhere he goes, be it seeing the leaves change in Algonquin, kayaking through Long Point or watching warblers migrate over at Point Pelee.

Amy loves exploring the parks and waterfronts of Toronto on bike and foot and is excited to help others connect to the nature that can be found within the city.

Yufei loves to immerse herself in nature. When she is not exploring the outdoors, some of her hobbies include dancing, spending time with her pets, and knitting and crocheting.

Houdini
Educational Animal Ambassador
Houdini is our turtley awesome Red-eared Slider who assists our staff in educational programs. He gets his name from once having mysteriously disappeared from his tank before being found the next day.
Snappy
Educational Animal Ambassador
Snappy is our resident Corn Snake who frequently interacts with and enlightens our program participants. Despite their name, Snappy is a very gentle snake and is not known to bite.

Shane is the current City of Toronto Supervisor for High Park and is an ex-officio non voting board member. He enjoys traveling and visits at least one interesting place each year.

Kayla is enthusiastic about the environment, nature, and the importance of urban natural areas in building community. She enjoys gardening, amateur bird watching, or taking a walk in the park.
