A minimum commitment of 3 months is required for all positions. With exception of the Summer Camp Counselor Assistant position, which requires a minimum commitment of 1 full week. The weekly/ bi weekly time commitment varies per position.
We also require all volunteers 18 years old and older to have a valid police record check within the last year. If candidates do not have a police record check they can complete one through My Back Check during the application process. Information on the process will be provided during the application process. Volunteers will be asked to pay for the police record check and then will be reimbursed after 10 hours of volunteer work.
Applicants can apply online to posted positions under the volunteer tab on the website. Successful candidates will be asked to attend a mandatory volunteer orientation and training session. Some positions may require reference checks. All individuals 18 years and older will be required to complete a police record check before volunteering.
