Welcome to Staff Spotlight! Here we highlight the diverse stories of our valuable staff!

I’m the Camp Programs Coordinator and a Naturalist Teacher at the Nature Centre. My experience working in day camps and child and youth programming led me to my current role. Being an outdoor educator, I have the chance to connect kids with nature and explore High Park every day! As the Camp Programs Coordinator, my goal is to give kids a chance to learn about nature in an inclusive camp setting.

Before coming to the Nature Centre, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies with a Minor in Political Science at Wilfrid Laurier University. My love for nature and wildlife led me to pursue my degree in Environmental Studies and encourages me to work every day to promote environmental stewardship through educational programming at the Nature Centre.

When I’m not at the Nature Centre, you can find me at home caring for my plants and pets, watching Grey’s Anatomy for the hundredth time, or at a second-hand shop in search of my next thrifted treasure. I have recently been recruited as an animal care volunteer at the Toronto Humane Society, where I hope to connect to animals and support the organization as best I can.

Fun fact about me: I attended nursery school in Richmond, England and fondly remember summers at the Terrace Gardens. I lived not too far from David Attenborough’s UK home!
