Welcome to Staff Spotlight! Here we highlight the diverse stories of our valuable staff!

I am the Nature Clubs Coordinator and a Naturalist Teacher at the High Park Nature Centre. I manage our weekly nature clubs for kids, and am passionate about sharing my love of all-things nature with visitors of all ages!

Prior to joining the Nature Centre, I spent five summers working for the Discovery Program at Ontario Parks. As a naturalist at Bon Echo, Lake Superior, and Murphys Point Provincial Parks I delivered a variety of interpretive programming including boat tours, guided hikes, snake meet and greets, and mine tours. I loved working outdoors and with visitors, and am thrilled to be able to continue doing so in Toronto.

I am so grateful to be able to work and spend so much time in High Park, which is an incredible green space in the middle of the city. I hope to facilitate programming that allows visitors to make a deep connection with nature. When I am not at work, I am an avid reader and love hiking and looking at wildflowers.

A fun fact about me is that while working for Ontario Parks I microchipped Gray Ratsnakes as a part of an ongoing catch-and-release population monitoring research project. Each snake’s microchip had a unique barcode so if we saw them in the future we could track their movement and growth.
