The word of the week is frore [FROHR] (adjective): frozen or frosty.

First used in the 13th century, frore comes from the middle English word “froren”. Next time you are trying to describe how cold something is, try calling it “frore”.

Examples: The precocious flowers that bloomed over the past two weeks are suffering the frore conditions. Despite some moments of apricity today, it still felt quite frore!
