Nature Club Assistants will support our educators deliver outdoor programs to children ages or adults in our nature club programs in Toronto’s High Park.
Summer Camp Counsellor Assistants will aid our staff counsellors in facilitating our summer nature camps for children of different age groups in High Park.

The volunteer Fundraising Director will serve on the Board of Directors and provide direction, expertise and advice to High Park Nature Centre on various fundraising areas.
The Nature Centre Administrative Specialist will directly support the Nature Centre’s mission of promoting knowledge and respect for High Park’s natural systems by completing important behind-the-scenes tasks to help programming.
The Nature Steward Assistant will help complete tasks, monitoring, and reporting for community science projects including Birds Canada FeederWatch, general bird watching, and Water Rangers Water Monitoring.
Winter Break Camp Counsellor Assistants will aid our staff camp counsellors in facilitating our nature-based camp programs for children of different age groups in High Park during our Winter Break Camp
Camp Counsellor Assistants will aid our staff camp counsellors in facilitating our nature-based camp programs for children of different age groups in High Park.
A minimum commitment of 3 months is required for all positions. With the exception of the Summer Camp Counselor Assistant position, which requires a minimum commitment of 1 full week. The weekly/ bi-weekly time commitment varies per position.
We also require all volunteers 18 years old and older to have a valid police record check within the last two years. If candidates do not have a police record check, they can complete one through My Back Check during the application process. Information on the process will be provided during the application process. Volunteers will be asked to pay for the police record check and then will be reimbursed after 10 hours of volunteer work.
Applicants can apply online to posted positions under the volunteer tab on the website. Successful candidates will be asked to attend a mandatory volunteer orientation and training session. Some positions may require reference checks. All individuals 18 years and older will be required to complete a police record check before volunteering.
